“Speaker’s Ball” Bloggers Challenge

Hey everyone, would you like to join the “Speaker’s Ball” Bloggers Challenge? Cheri, a sweetheart of mine, has a blogging event challenge that begins on February 1st! You have until February 28th, 2013 by midnight PST to submit all requirements and nominations for brand new blog awards! The only catch is that these awards are solely on merit, instead of the typical chain letter to pass around kind. All nominees do not automatically receive their awards. There will be a poll created by the end to vote for each award to one deserving nominee. So, PLEASE REBLOG THIS! Hey! Yeah, YOU! Attention all hopeless romantics out there! Check it out! There’s a 7th Sense – A Very Sensual Blog Award! Think about the guy who provided an erotic bedtime story for you! Yeah, you’re welcome! Pay it forward, and vote for me later!😉 Thanks everyone. Take care.
Update on my kiss poll! I have to label the questions as (1), (2), (3) because it only registered one question from the “Would You Rather,” questions, so expect a message from me shortly to verify your answers. Sorry for the inconvenience! If you did not provide your website, then please resubmit and mention that you resubmitted within the response. How else will I tell you? I was wondering why everyone was skipping the questions! It is now working. Once again, sorry for any inconvenience! Take it easy today. Sit back and relax. You deserve it! Yeah, I’m talking to you mommy! All mommies need “ME TIME” – IT’S NEVER TOO LATE!🙂

Cheri Speak

Speakers BallThere are a lot of “Blogging Awards” getting passed around, and although I appreciate every one I receive (as I’m sure you do too), I would feel more worthy if I knew I had actually done something to achieve them. That being said, I thought I would propose a Blog Challenge of my own. Welcome to the “Speaker’s Ball” where you will have a chance to earn some brand new Blogging rewards.

What greater satisfaction is there for a writer than to have readers that appreciate what they do?  And what greater satisfaction for a reader than to have a writer that cares about what you appreciate? Let’s highlight and honor the stand-outs.

Are you up for the challenge? I promise I’m not going to ask you to reveal “7 things about yourself” or to nominate and pass an award on to 15 other Bloggers. Sound like fun? It will be if you participate!

    1. Thanks for the feedback! Your encouraging words are greatly appreciated. I’m finally reaching deep into my inspirational mind to come up with another presentable article. Stay tuned!

  1. It’s nice to see a forum for recognition of truly gifted writing. I understand why the typical blogging awards might feel lesser to those who prefer to participate in the “Speaker’s Ball” Bloggers Challenge. There will likely be some great entries!

I thought I’d take a minute to share my view of the typical blogging awards. It’s an opportunity to see the blogs others like and are following. I have found some of my favorite bloggers that way. I always click through to the nominator and to the nominees and visit their sites. And I genuinely enjoy the personal answers to the random questions that are often included.

As a winner, it’s the opportunity to highlight sites that have impressed you for whatever reason…original, inspiring, beautiful, creative, interesting, authentic. Responding to the nominations can be time-consuming, but highlighting others’ work is a real pleasure.

Good luck with the “Speaker’s Ball” Bloggers Challenge if you choose to enter!

    1. I completely agree with everything you said! I love browsing through the tags for recent blog posts, like awards, Blog of the Year, etc. Then, I congratulate them. I met a lot of amazing people through my random tag surfing. I am always trying to find a theme for my next set of questions. I enjoy them, but the nominating part is very time consuming with acknowledging multiple awards (30+ nominations). I’ve only been here for two months, but I enjoy meeting new people and continuing my commitment with the WordPress community. Thank you so much for your feedback. I’m sure Cheri, the founder of this idea, will be very pleased for the responses back. Take care.

      1. Thanks for reaching out, but I’m on a different path these days. However, I do plan on sharing the opportunity with others. Wishing all great things for your adventure…
